Hello Dr. Rangadhar, This is regarding my 21 years old son who was diagnosed with Gilbert syndrome last year (2012). His bilirubin level is between 2.8 - 4 range. Later when he had fungal infection in his right year, he was given pain killers along with antibiotics and after 10 days he developed bleeding in his stomach . This time his platelet count was 36000. doctors found that this was due to the medicine given for pain relief and suggested him to avoid pain killers and anti inflammatory medicines. This episode was in Feb. 2013. 3 months later when we checked his platelet count it was 138000.(In June 2013). Doctors felt he is suffering from ITP. Last week he had viral fever and his platelet count dropped to 18000.He had bleeding in GI Track this time again. This time doctors did a Bone Marrow Test and confirmed that he has ITP . He is now on steroids and platelet count has come up to 125000. We are specifically looking for homeopathic treatment for him . He always has discomfort in his right ear. He takes offence very quickly. When suffering he tend to weep. His skin is slightly yellowish at time when I look at him and eyes as well. He make lots of friends and thinks he can manage any difficult situation and in control. He sys he does not know what fear is. He is fair and fat . Especially hip and thighs are fat.
