What Foods Should Be Given After Removal Of Small Intestine Due To Blockage?

my mom has 80 percent of her smaller intestines removed due to a blockage dec5th spent time in the hospital then in rehab got out jan10th has been in the hospital 3 times since she can eat but 2 tablespoons at a time drinks very little having trouble peeing the last time she was in the hospital was last week. still having trouble as I mentioned plus now having pain in her lower left section below where she had surgery had uti last week too says shes weak walks alittle she says she has trouble swallowing or is afraid to try to swallow meats but can swallow water...soup soft foods what else can we do to help her? was gonna have a barium swallow but cancelled due to bad weather. how long does this last?im afraid she will end up back in the hospital.
