What Else Can I Do To Clear Nose Sore Inspite Of Using Medicines ?

Hi, I had a head cold or sinus infection and developed a sore on the outside of my nose which I have had for two weeks. I went to the Dr where I got a rx for antibiotic and then to the dermatologist for the sore. He said it was rosacea and gave me a rx which has not cleared it up. What else can I do to clear this nose sore?

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The soreness over the nose can be treated by topical steroids like mometasone if it is secondary to rosacea. If it is of bacterial infection, then it has to be treated with a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin and metronidazole(if you are not allergic). So consult a good dermatologist and get it evaluated.
I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
