What Dose Of Ambroxol Should Be Given For Cold And Fever In An Infant?

Hello Doctors, I m Francis from the Philippines, my little daughter is one year and six months, estimated weight is 12 kilograms, she has runny nose but there s no fever, we gave her Disudrin drops, ( Phenylpropanolamine Hydrochloride) 2 days ago. this morning she was coughing, previous doctor gave her ambroxol, I don t remember the dosage. Could you please advise.. Thanks very much..

Ambroxol is indicated if there is excessive mucus formation, bronchiolitis, chronic asthama.
It is advisable to consult a pediatrician before giving medication.
Dose of ambroxol will be 7.5 mg twice a day for babies age between one to two years.
