What Dosage Of Meftal To Give For A Persistent Fever?

My son is 3 years and running temperature of 103. Doctor prescribed Meftal P to be taken only if the fever is above 102. We had given 5 ml in the morning 6 am. It reduced to 98 F for 4 hoirs. Now again its increasing. What time should I repeat the dose. Can I give it every 6 hours. . ?

In addition tepid sponging is helpful.
You can give as frequently as every 6 hours.
