Hello and welcome to HCM,
A choroid plexus cyst is a fluid filled lesion in the choroid plexus of brain.
Choroid plexus is a network of fluid secreting epithelium which lines the ventricles of the brain.
Choroid plexus secretes the cerebrospinal fluid.
A choroid plexus cyst will not cause any damage to the developing brain.
However, if the cyst is big enough, it can compress the surrounding brain parenchyma and cause pressure symptoms.
This size, extension, relation with surrounding structures has to be determined by serial scans and consultation with a neuro-radiologist.

Thanks and take care
