What Does Uncovertebral Arthropathy In My Below MRI Report Suggest?

I had an MRI. It read, c4-c5 there is a disk bulge with bilateral uncovertebral arthropathy. The anterior CSF space is effaced the posterior CSF is persevered. There is mild spinal stenosis no appreciable neural foraminal narrowing. Please help me understand

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Uncovertebral arthropathy refers to a form of osteoarthritis affecting the uncovertebral joints,located along the cervical vertebra, specifically the uncinate process, a sort of hook located on each side of the vertebrae.

So, it is a form of arthritis.

It could cause spinal cord stenosis or nerves compression by mass effect.

Regarding to MRI report, changes are minimal to moderate in your case, so, conservative treatment with NSAID drugs and physical therapy should improve your symptoms, if any.
