What Does Trivial Tr And Fs 30% Mean In Ecg?
My son has had an echocardiagram , we have received a report today and it says trivial TR and FS 30%. He previously had a right atrial thrombus due to intense chemotheraphy for T cell lymphoblastic lymphoma ( NHL). The thrombus has been cleared with deltaparin injections. Could you please tell me what the trivial TR & FS 30 % means. Thank You

Your echo report is suggestive of mild tricuspid regurgitation and mild fractional shortening affecting myocardial contractility. It may be due to the chemotherapeutic drugs or prolonged thrombus effect. However, 30 percent is a low value and it can reverse given enough time to heart to heal.
