What Does This Uterine Ultrasound Result For Delay In Periods Indicate?

I m 25years old and 25 days late on my period. I ve done several HPT and 2 blood tests (one with 16 days and one with 24 days of missed period). All of them negative. But I also had an ultrasound yesterday and my endometrium is thick (20mm) but no sack. Plus this morning I notice a little bleeding when checking my cervix. Could I be pregnant even though the blood test are coming up negative after so many days?I recently did a hormone profile and my fhs and progesterone were off. I read this could be a cause for thick endometrium

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
From the description and ultrasound report, it appears that you are having 'endometrial hyperplasia'. It is a condition of excessive proliferation of the cells of inner lining of the uterus.
It is the result from high levels of estrogens, combined with insufficient levels of the progesterone-like hormones.
It is difficult for you to become pregnant with such thick (20mm) endometrium as it does not favor implantation.
Treatment for this include dilatation and curettage with hormone therapy.
Kindly contact Gynecologist for proper evaluation and management.
Hope the above information would be useful.
All the best.
