Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. I m 48 years old male, and recently had E-colie after an antibiotic course, i m fine and no indications or any symptom. however in recent days and sometimes when i pass urine i find some brown tissues in my urine also few times it turn red but that only towards the end before i finish passing completely i did a urine culture and found everything negative even my PSA. now cannot understand what is that.
Are there any rbcs (blood) in your urine result which can be due to old ecoli infection or kidney problem, or it can be due to some antibiotic you took. Get your urine RBC and WBC count done and your kidney function test done and if normal nothing to be done. Wait for a week.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ankit
