hi doc, my mom had an ultrasound yesturday and here is the result please explain briefly consider heptic parenchymal disease please correlate clinically cltolelithiasis, splenomegaly, mild pelvocalyceal fullness, right cervical calcification, left she is 72 years of age thank you

Hepatic parenchymal disease most likely concerns fatty changes with possibility of a coarse liver unless specifically detailed. Liver function tests may be done for confirmation.

Cholelithiasis is term applied for stones in gall bladder. Details regarding number and size of stones is important.

Splenomegaly means that the spleen is enlarged more than normal limits. This can be due to mild infection or an underlying chronic condition.

Mild pelvicalyceal fullness probably refers to slight bulging of the kidneys.

Right cervical calcification is not a clear ultrasound finding.
