Hello, thanks for writing to HCM.
The
ultrasound report is suggestive of
polycystic ovarian disease.
However it also requires a hormonal assay (
blood test) and details of her menstrual history to confirm the diagnosis.
She maybe having
irregular periods, excess facial or body hair and acne-prone skin.
Not all women with PCOD have the same symptoms, but it does interfere with fertility, because the cycles become anovulatory (no egg release).
But do not worry. I would suggest you take her to a gynecologist, who can examine her, ask for the workup and prescribe medication.
It is important that she eat healthy food, exercise regularly to maintain optimal weight for her height.
Weight loss is a part of the treatment regimen for PCOD.
When she is trying to conceive, follicular monitoring study and medication to stimulate follicles maybe given.
Rest of the report is normal.
Hope this is helpful. You may write in again for further clarifications.
Take care.
