General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
Welcome to HCM,
I read your query and i appreciate your concern regarding this issue.

At very early stage its difficult to find yolk sac or fetal pole,as fetal pole and yolk sac identified then there should b cardiac activity which is absent according to scan.
I would suggest her to go for ultrasound after one week for confirmation of heart beat.
I would ask her, Is there any history of miscarriage??
Till then Take folic acid regularly and Take healthy balanced diet.
Go for regular check ups.

Hope so it will be helpful.
You can write again in case of any query or follow up.
Wish you good health.
