Hi I have received these results for my father and would like to know if you can explain .. Right kidney: 10cm, parenchymal thinning consistent with age related change. Upper pole cortical cyst 1.4cm, medial lower pole cyst 1.7cm (Seems fine for a 92 year old) YES/NO Left kidney: again parenchymal thinning 3.2cm lower pole cortical cyst laterally, 1.3cm medial lower pole cortical cyst. No obstruction, calculus or solid mass. Mild increase in parenchymal echogenicity bilaterally consistent with medical disease left greater than right. How about here? - Are the measurements very high for a 92 year old? Aorta: Non-aneurysmal, Atheromatous calcification noted. What does this mean? Bladder: Distended at 258cc, Bladder wall trabeculation noted, small left posteroinferior bladder wall diverticulum noted. Small residual 34cc. What does this mean and should we consult a doctor? Prostate: Significally enlarged to 77cc. Is this adnormal for a 92 year should we consult a doctor?
