General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I understand your concern.
Lymph node detection near pancreas, in your ultrasound report can be -
- an artifact.. needs to be confirmed by repeat USG scan.
- Inflammation or infection of pan creas can cause such glands.
- Infection/ inflammation/ affection of nearby organs like spleen can be the cause.
- Problems of lymphatic system like Hodgkin's disease , malignancy are other possible causes.
Though you are a fit person , looking at the age.. you should get investigated..
- repeat USG scan/ CT scan/ MRI ( as per advise )
- Consult a gastroenterologist & seek expert opinion to exclude / diagnose exact cause & get specific treatment.
thanks.
