What Does This Ultrasound Report During Pregnancy Indicate?

Hi, I am 30 years old and 12 weeks pregnant. My 1st trimester ultasound last week came back with NT 9.1, cystic hygroma and bilateral pleural effusion. What does it mean and what are my chances that the baby will survive? I had my blood test done, waiting for the result.

Hello dear thanks for trusting health care magic. Baby may be alive at birth but there are chances of multiple disorders in baby so get a double marker test at the earliest and in case high risk for trisomy disorder then you might need to abort the pregnancy
In case you have any questions in future you can contact me directly on http://bit.ly/drmanishajain
