What Does This CT Scan Report Indicate?

Hi,I have had my CT scan done yesterday. My age is 37 Yr Male. Report mentions There is a polypoid soft tissue involving the Right Maxillary sinus. It measures 3.3 X 3.2 cms in size. Mild mucosal thicknin is seen along leftfrontal, bilatral ethmoid and maxilary sinuses.The osteomeatal complexex are partially blocked bymucosal thickning,Nasal septum shows single curve deviation to right side.May pl help understanding the garvity and seriousness of the same.Thank you

Hi, thank you for posting your query on health care magic.

Looking at your CT scan report,it seems that you are suffering from Sinus polyp..Allergy might be a cause.

You may find relief by taking the following medications:
Steroid nasal spray like containing Mometasone,
Antihistaminic like Cetrizine,
Decongestant nasal drops like Oxymetazoline in case of nasal blockage(to be used for maximum 7-10 days).

Avoid dust and pollutants.

If still,there is no relief and nasal blockage becomes continuous,then Endoscopic nasal surgery might be needed.
