What Does This Semen Analysis Report Signify?

Dear Doctor, i am 30 years old and married since 1 year , but my wife is unable to conceive i have performed semen analysis test and i am sending you the result kindly guide me what can be the problem TAHIR ALI volum : 3.6 ml consistency : semi liquid liquification time :18 minutes total sperm count: 92 million /ml active motile:55% sluggish:20% immotile:25% normal:90% abnormal:10% pus cells:2-4/hpf red blood cells:nil/hpf plz guide me YYYY@YYYY

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
Your report of semen analysis is perfectly normal.
As volume should be between 1.5-5.5
ml. Consistency should be solid initially that can be liquefied in 15-30minutes. Count should be more than 20 million/ml. More than 50 percent should be active mobile, more than 50 Percent should be normal. PH should be between 7.2-7.8
As consistency is not changed, liquification time is normal PH will be normal. All of your semen analysis report values are within normal range.
I would like to advise you to wait for another year as by defination couple should wait for a couple of years of unprotected intercourse
then go for investigating your wife., By ultrasonography, Hysterosalphingography, Harmonal assay.
Even if all investigations are normal of both partners still five percent people have unexplained infertility. You can then avail IVF.
