What Does This Semen Analysis Finding Indicate?

My report of semen had following analysis what this means , Is it normal? :
Appearance: dirty whitish
Volume: 02 ml
Consistency: thick
pH: 7.9
Count/concentration 160 million/ml
Motility: dead 65, semi sluggish 05,
sluggish 10, fully motile 20
Pus cells: 1-2/ HPF
Red cells: nil
Epith cells: a few


Stained film examination
Acrosomal cap: present 75 %
Abnormal heads: seen 10 %
Mid pieces: present 80%
Trails: present 90%

Opinion remarks by lab: Asthenospermia

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your semen report , you have 2 ml volume & 160 million count/ml which is normal. As per mobility only 20 % are active motile & 10% are sluggish & 65% are non motile/ Dead.

So all together your semen report shows that you might be suffering from Asthenospermia or low sperm motility. This might be cause of infertility problem you are facing.

This problem might arise from number of conditions like stress, nutritional deficency & some testicular problems.
