Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of the
ultrasound pelvis is as follows:
The uterus is normal in size and normal in position i.e. anteverted.
The uterus shows presence of three masses in anterior and posterior uterine segments and one intra-murally (embedded in the wall of the uterus).
These three masses are most likely to be due to fibroids.
Fibroids are benign tumors arising from muscle fibers of the
myometrium.
Fibroids remain asymptomatic in majority of the cases, however, may become symptomatic when large.
They can cause symptoms like
menorrhagia, dysmenorrhoea, etc, and when symptomatic they are removed surgically.
Cervix is normal in size and shape and has nabothian cysts.
Nabothian cysts are indicative of
chronic cervicitis, common in healthy females.
The right ovary cannot be seen due to bowel gas obscuring the roght ovary.
The left ovary shows normal follicle formation and hence ovulation.
No other abnormal mass or fluid filled pouch of Douglas is seen.
Thanks and take care
