General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
I have read your query, & understand your concern.
The PAP smear report suggests there are inflammatory cells in the smear with scattered squamus cells in between There is no mention of abnormal forms of squamous cells.. so there is no possibility of malignancy. It is plain inflammation of cervix ( mouth of uterus ) of cervix according to pap smear.
The pathologist usually give a foot note to corelate the findings radiologically/ clinically . . this is a routine thing.
So please don't worry. Suitable antibiotics anti inflammatory drugs & vaginal pessaries would relieve you.
Please consult a gynecologist for more specific advise after investigations & examination.
Thanks.
Thanks.
