General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Endoscopy report what you have posted says the following:
1. Lax GE junction indicates that your gastro-esophageal sphincter is lax, stating that the closure at this point is not tighter than normal.
2. There is a small growth in the form of polyp seen at the upper end of your stomach (fundus). The biopsy has been taken and it would be sent for histopathological examination. This would tell what type of growth it is - cancerous or non-cancerous one.
3. Rest of the parts of esophagus, stomach and duodenum (first and second part) are normal.
Neopride is used as an anti psychotic drug and for conditions like dyspepsia, gastro-esophageal reflex disorders and irritable bowel syndrome (constipation & diarrhoea). You can continue to use it as it would help you to treat lax GE junction. You need to wait for histopathology report for definitive treatment.
Kindly consult Physician with the report for appropriate management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
