I would need more clinical information on her condition and if she actually has any neurological deficits such as weakness in a limb, trouble walking, slurred speech, etc. The report is calling for chronic white matter disease in all likelihood but there are other possibilities depending upon her age and condition. Depends on the cause(s) for this microvascular ischemia as to whether it will progress or hold steady....unlikely to remit....but that may not be significant in her case either depending upon the clinicals. Hypertension, diabetes, hypothyroidism, smoking, high cholesterol, and demyelinating disease are all possible causes of the picture you describe.
