hello i have an xray check up today and there is a suspicious density seen in the upper right lung field.the rest of the lungs are clear.the trachea is midline. the heart is magnified but not enlarged. the hemidiaphragms and costophrenic sulci are intact. the mediastinum, osseous and soft tissue chest wall structures are unremarkable the impression is suspicious density, right upper lung field.lordotic view is suggested for futher evaluation.. so wht do you mean for this doc.
Hello, increased density in chest xray means there is some change in the normal structure of the lung in that region. Either it could be an infection which we call as pneumonia. If you have symptoms like cough and fever going on from few days, most likely it can be infection seen in the xray. Or it can be tuberculosis for which u will need further check up and investigations like sputum examination. You can ask if you need any further clarification.
