There is an ill-defined density in the right upper lung field. The trachea is in the midline. The hearth is not enlarged transversely. The hemidiaphragms are smooth. The costophrenic sulci are intact. The rest of the visualized soft and osseous structures are unremarkable. Impression: Suggest apicolordotic view for further evaluation. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.

Thanks for asking on HCM.

This X-Ray report is suggestive of

01) There is an ill defined ( meaning not clearly visible in that x-Ray) in the right upper region of your lung which may be due to tuberculosis, granuloma or any other respiratory problems.

02) Rest all the findings are normal.

Your doctor has suggested for another type of X-Ray called apico-lordotic view. It helps in clear visualisation of the ill defined density to see what it is exactly. Kindly consult your doctor for further evaluation. This type of x-Ray is now seldom done. CT scan gives better view of the density. Your doctor will help you with this.

Hope this helps.

If you have any other queries, feel free to ask.

Regards,
Dr.Prathap Kumar
