I am suffering from sever back pain, which causes my legs to go out from under me at times, with the smallest turn , it is a sharp uncontrollable pain.I feel tingeing, numbness in my buttocks all the way down my left leg, it also is causing pain and pressure in my groaning. I injured my back and neck 15 years ago while arresting someone for grand theft. i just had an MRI done this is what is says, could you please explain, as this reports is written differently than others I have had, it refers to Moderate to Large disc bulge, But it does not say how many mm? Thank you for your help. L1-2, L2-3, Mild facet degeneration L3-4; Moderate to Large diffuse disc bulge, Narrowing of the lateral recesses, Mild spinal stenosis, Moderate to severe facet degeneration, Mild neural foramina narrowing, l-4-5; Moderate to Large diffuse disc bulge, Narrowing of the lateral recesses, Mild spinal stenosis, Mild neural formina narrowing, L5-S1; Mild diffuse disc bulge with small annular fissure, Impression; Disc bulges are most prominent at L3-4 and L4-5,. The disc may have some localized mass effect on exiting nerve roots in the lateral recesses. There are no levels of significant spinal canal stenosis or neural foraminal narrowing.

Hello.

The report states that you have disc bulges at the L3-L4 and L4-L5 levels.
The report also states that none of these discs are touching your nerves. Unfortunately, without the images, it is not possible to give measurements in millimeters.

All the best.
