What Does This MRI Report Of Brain Indicate?

Hello Dr. My MRI Brain WWO contrast shows: There is diffuse heterogeneous enhancement involving the superior frontal and parietal calvarium. No large discrete measurable lesions are seen. There is stable mild prominence of the ventricles and cortical sulci secondary to mild diffuse volume loss. What does this mean. Regards, Karen

Hello Karen!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

Your brain MRI finding could indicate possible chronic inflammation or infection of the scull bone in the frontal and parietal region.
The other findings indicate just normal chronic changes due to the age.
Coming to this point, I would recommend performing vitamin D levels and inflammation tests (complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate).
A bone scintigraphy could be necessary.
You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards, Dr. Aida
