2.septal motion reduction( IVS ANTERIOR WALL-HYPOKINETIC -)this indicates that he had already had an episode of myocardial ischaemia,/attack mostly anterior wall.pulmonary edema is mainly due to this reason . grade 2 mitral regurgitation means incompetent mitral wall, but the size of the cardiac chambers remains normal.
he should regularly continue with his cardiac medications & regular follow up with the cardiologist all the best, take care

What Does This ECHO Test Result Indicate?
hi echocardiography shows that his left ventricular pumping ( main pump)has the ejection fraction of 44% which is reduced in function when the normal EF should be more than 65%( without mitral regurgitation) 2.septal motion reduction( IVS ANTERIOR WALL-HYPOKINETIC -)this indicates that he had already had an episode of myocardial ischaemia,/attack mostly anterior wall.pulmonary edema is mainly due to this reason . grade 2 mitral regurgitation means incompetent mitral wall, but the size of the cardiac chambers remains normal. he should regularly continue with his cardiac medications & regular follow up with the cardiologist all the best, take care
