Radiologist 's  Response
Hello,
1. This report this mass is of great concern according to me.
2. U should immediately consult with a oncologist.
3. A biopsy should b taken from the lesion. The result will take couple of days ; but are of great help in knowing the type of lesion.
4. Following which he should be screened for spread of disease with few more scans like X ray chest (if required ct thorax), bone scan, ct/mri of brain.
according to the spread of disease the treatment will be decided.
5. If the disease has not spread to distant organ then they will operate the tumor if n remove it, n then follow with radiotherapy /+ chemotherapy.
6. If the disease has not spread to other distant (far off)organs then they will not operate. The treatment will b concentrated on making him have less symptom n to reduce his suffering.
hope this helps.
If u have any queries please feel free to ask.
Thank you.
