What Does This AST/ALT Test Ratio Indicate?

my ast is 41 and alt 67 on the liver..any reason for concerns here?..i excercise alot,drink a ton of water and always drink water when I am drinking which is 4 drinks every day..also I drink a lot of herbal tea..all that said how bad are these numbers?..d

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
From the AST and ALT values you have enclosed, it appears that AST is marginally higher than normal, while ALT is showing a 2 fold increase than normal. This is indicative of mild liver dysfunction. It could be due to fatty liver changes resulting from Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
Kindly get an ultrasound scan of abdomen to know the status of liver and gall bladder. Depending on its status, treatment can be intervened.
Kindly consult Physician or Gastroenterologist with the report for evaluation and management.
