What Does Thin Layer Of White Crust Under The Eye Indicate?

I am 43 years old and was diagnosed 5 months ago with cataracts. When I wake up in the morning I have noticed a thin layer of white crust under my eye. I was wondering what that is, and whether it is related to the cataract. I don't have a cyst or anything.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having a thin layer of white crust under eyes.
This is because of infection of eyes in the form of conjunctivitis and is not related to cataract.
This requires treatment by use of antibiotic eye drops.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
