What Does Thickening In Posterior Joint Capsule On MRI Post ACL Reconstruction Mean?
I am 10 months post ACL reconstruction, patella tendon graft. Limited rom pre op due to lat meniscus tear and MCL gd 2 also. Post op rom difficult, improved to +10-95deg with physio and underwent mua 10 weeks ago. Now +10-105 deg but still unable to walk limp free. Latest MRI show minimal thickening in posterior joint capsule. What else can be done, my job is military fitness instructor!
I do not think it is a very significant finding as it can be because of inflammation. I would like to know what your complete report says. What about graft , Is it normal or thickened or any cyclops lesion is seen. I assure you that if graft is in its placed, then you can be rest assure that you will be fine soon. Keep doing physiotherapy as adviced by your physio.
