Hi Doctor my son had a medicated for 6 months of Tubercolosis . Now when he had an x-ray the result or impression is KOCH'S Infection both upper lobes. What is this result? I mean is he had a TB again because he take a medicine for 6 months. Please explain to me me dr.
TB is a chronic disease and its lung involvement can be seen on X ray for even months. In your son it means that there is some structural changes in the lungs which are due to the earlier TB itself. The recent X ray needs to be compared with the old X ray to tell if the disease is still active or not.
