General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
The inferences from readings of Uterus scan you ask for -
- Size & muscular patren of uterus are normal.
- Thickness of endometrium is less( denotes hormonal imbalance)
-In both ovaries multiple immature ova are arranged along it's periphery( this is typical of PCOD)
-Ovarian size is within normal limits( This is atypical for PCOD)
- No free fluid in POD -is suggestive of absence of recent ovulation/ infection in pelvic cavity.
* This scan indicates -
- assessment of hormones & treatment for regular ovulation.
- Need to reduce ( if you are over weight.)
Thanks.
