What Does The Test Result: Urobilinogen, Low Bilirubin, And RDW Indicate?

I have sp gravity 1.030, moderate blood, trace of mucous, trace of amorphous, .2 urobilinogen, 6.0 ph urine, the rest is negative. I also have a low bilirubin of .15 on a scale of .20-1.00, low potassium, hematology reports mchc 32.8, out of 33-37 g/dl and 15.2 RDW of 11.5-14.5%, MPV 10.5 of 7.4-10.4 FL

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of the urine report is as follows:
The specific gravity and pH of urine are within normal range.
Presence of urobilinogen suggests presence of urobilinogen pigment in urine which is due to hemolysis of red blood cells.
Moderate amount of blood in urine can again be due to hemolysis.
Traces or mucus and amorphous urates are normal finding.

The blood report shows slightly raised MCHC, slightly raised RDW and slightly raised MPV.
Raised RDW suggests variation in sizes of red blood cells.
Raised MCHC can be interpreted along with MCV and MCH.
Isolated MCHC value is not significant.
MPV is a platelet parameter. Increase suggests slight variation in sizes of platelets.

Investigations for hemolytic anemia need to be done since there is presence of blood and urobilinogen in urine.

Thanks and take care
