What Does The Report Of Pelvic USG Mean?

Hi doctor today i got. My pelvic USG Done as Uterus enlarged in size measuring 12cm x 5.3cm and it is anteverted Endometerial thickness is normal. A small subserosal hypoechoic lesion measuring 1.2 x 1.1cmis Seen in fundal Region along the posterior uterine wall. Aseptated cystic lesion measuring 3.5 x2.6 cm in legt adenexal Region.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

Your ultrasound report shows the following
1. A slightly bulky uterus.
2. A 1.2 x 1.1 cms fibroid in the fundus of the uterus, probably this may be causing enlargement of uterus.
3. A 3.5 x 2.6 cms complex cyst in the region of left ovary.

These findings need to be followed up with another ultrasound scan in 3 to 6 months with certain blood tests.
