What Does The Powers Of Spherical Has Decreased While Cylindrical Has Increased Mean?

I had sperical as well as cylindrical powers in both the eyes. they were constant since 10 years. now the doctor says that sperical has decreased while cylindrical has increased. how should i trust the doctor? i read somewhere that its very difficult to recognize

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having refractive error with spherical and cyclindrical power.
Usually the refractive power increases or varies in children during growing age. After 25 years usually there will be no alteration in the eye power. The next variation is because of changes in the power of the lens which occurs by 40 years of age because of nuclear sclerosis.
I advice you to get second opinion from a another doctor.
