What Does The Lab Report With High Potassium And Bun Level Indicate?
I piccked up my lab results from my Dr. today so I can bring them to my colonoscopy exam. My doctor did not go over my reults with me but I nootied that my potassium level is high 5.9 and my Bun is high 33. My creatine with GFR is 0.7 I am a diabetic, female age 47. I do spill protein in the urine and am on Losartan to protect my kidneys. I have also noted several other anomilies in my blood work. MCH L 31.5 Lymps L 17 and EOS 6 H What could this all mean.
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have slightly high potassium and BUN. Itsslightly high and not affect your procedures so that your doctor may not mention it. You should take treatment of that. Because if level of potassium increase further then it may lead to life threatening arrhythmia. Don't worry about your mch & lymphocytes. It is not significant. Continue with your losartan. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly. Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
