Is A Moderately Inflamed Endometrial Cavity With Scanty Fluid Collection Consistent With Endometritis A Serios Concern?

Hello HCM I did a scan and it says non-gravid, and normal sized uterus with regular uterine contour outline border. It measures about 72mmx37mmx39mm in longitudinal, transverse and Ap diameter. No cyesis (ingratitude and extra uterine gestation ) no uterine fibroid identified. However. Noted at the mid corpus-uteri is a moderately inflamed endometrial cavity with a scanty fluid collection Noted within. This feature is partly consistent with endometritis. No complex ovarian cyst. There is a sizable free fluid accumulation noted in the pouch of Douglas. Feature is in keeping with PID. Impression. : sonographic feature are in keeping with Acyesis, endometritis, PID. Doctor pls kindly explain and advice.

Hi I think you are having some pelvic infections. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist to rule out any cervical pathology or infections. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Hope it helps. Otherwise the report is fine.
