How Can Suspected Right Follicular Cyst With Endometrial Hyperplasia In An 18-year-old Be Treated?

Just had my Ultrasound done today. I am 18 and some blood tests for which the reports are yet to come. As per todays report it says that the endometrial echocomplex is central and thickened with thickness 14mm. Also a cyst in the right T.O. Region measuring 113*94*80mm ,no solid component or septae is seen. Dominant follicle in left Ovary measuring 20mm IMPRESSION :suspected right follicular cyst with endometrial hyperplasia Can someone please explain this to me P.S. I haven t had regular periods since beginning (4 years) mostly around 2 months or 45 days and sometimes even longer P.P.S. What can be the possible reason for it? Anything serious. Please suggest what to do next.

Hi, I think you have got an ovarian cyst which is big in size. You can go for a CT scan to confirm the nature of the cyst. Also do a CA125 level. You may need a surgical procedure to remove the cysts. May be the cysts is the reason why you are not getting periods. Also get a thyroid profile and prolactin levels done. Sometimes, thyroid disorders can lead to cysts, which can resolve by correcting thyroid levels.
