Hello,

I read your message and understood your issue.

Prostate enlagement is quite common is men over 40 and is something that naturaly happen due to hormones changes that come by aging.

From what you are reporting, your brother's ultrasound report is quite normal for his age.

Prostate enlargement happens due to the reduced levels of the testosterone hormone. Your brother can balance the hormone by diet and exercise. Diet must be vagetable and fish based. Foods high in zinc are also encouraged to consume (e.g. pumpkin seeds, molasses, etc.)

Avoid triggers like smoking and stop drinking alcohol and caffeine containing drinks especially after dinner.

Your brother must do regular check ups to keep tracking the changes of his prostate gland. Also, he must be careful to notice any urinary tract symptoms and let his doctor know about them. Prescription medicines might be needed to reduce the prostate gland size (e.g. alfuzosin or tamsulosin, etc.)

If urinary tract infection (UTI), antibiotics advised to use to treat it. Urine antiseptics are also recommended (including uva-ursi tea, etc).

Hope this was helpful
