hello sir my husband got heptitis b .recently detected like his dna load is 797 ui/ml. after 3 months we went to blood test sgot /sgpt . in that result sgot is little high its 75u/l. is ther any thing serious sir. we have to start treatement now ? really we are in big confusion and so and so panic about this disese. sir plz give best solution ..

AST (SGOT) and ALT (SGPT) are sensitive indicators of liver damage from different types of disease. In rare cases, higher-than-normal levels of these liver enzymes may have causes other than liver problems. The interpretation of elevated AST and ALT levels depends upon the whole clinical picture.
