What Does The Following MRI Result Indicate?

I have an MRI result with L4/5 Stable small central disc herniation mildly deforming the thecal sac but not creating any stenosis.? Could this be causing the burning searing pain into my right butt cheek? I have previously had a spinal fusion at L5-S1 due to spondylolysthesis at a grade 1. It also states right sided neural foraminal narrowing with contact and slight flattening of the exiting right L5 nerve root. I also have the feeling of sciatica on my right side..

Welcome to health care magic.

1.The herniated disc at the level of L4/5 causing indentation on the thecal sac - it can cause the radiating pain extending through out the leg including the thigh region.
2.At the same time the nerve root compression has more role in the radiating pain that the thecal sac.
3.In this case back exercises are recommended initially and generally helps.
4.The next step of the treatment includes - physiotherapy along with the exercises.
5.The finally if does not give any relief an operative / interventional treatment is indicated.

Good luck.
