What Does The Following HSG Report Suggest?

HSG test report says uterrus size, shape, position are normal, no intraluminal filling defects, right fallopian tubes is visualized, normal in calibre, left tube is not visualized, peritoneal spill is seen on right side Whether this case is having a chance to get pregnancy. Kindly inform in detail?

This report is suggestive of blocked left uterine tube.

This is likely to be associated with reduced fertility, but pregnancy can still happen normally.

Left tubal block means there's reduced possibility of fertilization of ova (eggs) coming from left ovary. Normally there's one ovum produced by one ovary each month, alternatively.

Folliculometry (ovulation monitoring by ultrasound) maybe advised to detect time of ovulation from the right ovary, and best time for intercourse.

Treatment plan and instructions for conception are best discussed with your obstetrician.
