What Does The Following CT Scan Report Suggest?

I had uterine cancer, stage 1B. Had a hysterectomy, and internal and external radiation. Just did my first CT scan. It said that there was residual thymic tissue more than to be expected for a 54 yr old woman. No lyphonodes involved as far as they could tell. What does this mean?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the CT report you have mentioned.
No need to worry much for this report.
Thymus gland is in chest. It usually regress with age and don't see after the age of 50 years.
So whenever thymus gland is seen in 54 year old patient, radiologist do mention this.
It has nothing to do with uterine cancer.
Local lymphnodes are also normal so no need to worry for local recurrence.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
I find this answer helpful
