What Does The Following CAT Scan Report Indicate?

I had a cat scan last week. It showed I had a fatty growth which is twisted causing great pain in my LLQ. I am 61 years old and know I need a colonoscopy. I am in great pain and need a referral in Colorado springs. WOuld this be considered a chrisis situation?

With the CT scan showing a growth of your left or descending colon, and the fact you are experiencing pain, you would have to take immediate action in consulting a Gastroenterologist, who would do a colonoscopy and biopsy. Depending on the Histopathological report, your management will be decided.
