What Does The Feeling Of An Electric Shock In My Body Indicate?

Hi I get the feeling of something similar to an electric shock. It's happened a couple of different places. It generally happens in the same place every time though. Today I felt several zingers on my back right side ribcage. I have also felt this in my foot before. I do not remember which root. It's something that comes and goes really quickly. Do you have any idea what this may be?
