What Does The Elevated SGPT Level In My Blood Test Report Indicate?

Hello Doctor,
my father is 52years old .He is a smoker and drinker.Now he is having aversion to food ,loss of appetite.His SGOT and SGPT values are elevated AFp value is about 45 and bilirubin values also have changes.Doctor what is his problem ? is it a serious one?

Thanks for posting your query to HCM.
After going through your father's history, all these markers increase in jaundice and also there is loss of appetite. In jaundice, liver function is affected.
I would suggest you to visit a physician for proper treatment.
Don't give your father fatty and oily foods.
