Rounded hypeoechoic SOL 26.0mm in diameter is image within the anterior uterine wall. Uterine cavity is empty. Cervix is normal in size and echotexture. Uterus measures 91.9mm*53.9mm*61.7mm. Both the ovaries appear normal in size shape and echotexture. No SOL seen. RO- 19.8 mm* 36.2 mm *30.5 mm LO- 20.1 mm*35.1mm * 35.5 mm Rest all normal.... Doctor can you please tell me that if i have t be operated and that is there anything fatal that i am carrying? is my disease dangerous?
Most probably small hypoechoic structure in anterior wall of the uterus is due to uterine fibroid.Fibroid is benign tumour of the uterus. Fibroid may involve many region of the uterus like muscle of uterus(called as intramural),below serosa of uterus(called as subserosa) etc.
It is not fatal. Fibroid can be treated by both means conservatively and surgically depend upon many things like age, family is completed or not etc. Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) analogs are commonly used in the medical treatment of fibroids.
Other findings are within normal limit.Cervix, endometrium and both ovaries are normal.
Hope I have answered your question. Take Care Dr.Indu Bhushan
