What Does The US With Increased Vascularity In Lower Segment Along Placenta Mean?
Anterior wall myometrium shows increase vascularity in lower segment along placenta;however lower down around os;no flow detected.what does this means?secondly i am 27 weeks pregnant and this is the radiologist report about my placenta previa.can it get better till 32 weeks?
Increased vascularity in the myometrium can be due to placenta invading in the myometrium leading to placenta accreta. It is a high-risk situation, in which cesarean section required for delivery, and there is a high risk of intrapartum and postpartum hemorrhage and can lead to hysterectomy. You should get an MRI done to confirm the diagnosis.
